Happy Thanksgiving to
all of you from Erin Hope and family and everyone at www.erinhope.com
! We trust that you will reflect not only on this Thanksgiving Day, but
EVERY day, how truly blessed you are.
It has been really busy
around here for Erin Hope and the family. She has had a blast attending
all of the special functions lately. She has attended a Carolina
Panther's game, made a radio commercial for Make-A-Wish Foundation, kicked off
the annual local Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society, and rode
on the Buble/Aiken Foundation float in the Raleigh, NC Christmas
parade. She did not actually meet Clay Aiken but was real close to him.
It was an exciting event for all. It was good to see all of Erin Hope's
supporters at the parade as well. Especially those of you from Maryland
and New Jersey. Special thanks goes to the Raleigh area Clay fans and
the Buble/Aiken Foundation, and Deannie for making this a very special event
for Erin Hope. I don't want to leave anyone out but I don't know
everyone that was involved in making this special, but thanks to all who
participated. We love you all!!!
Erin Hope's blood
counts are still not high enough to go back on her oral chemo medication.
She continues to receive the shots 3 times a week. These still make her
very tired but the fever occurrences are less. Thanks for your many
prayers. She is scheduled to have another CT scan on December 4th but we
are not sure at this time if she will have it since she has been unable to
re-start on the oral medication. We'll let you know.
Also, don't forget
about the Tournament of Hope Golf Tournament on Saturday, December 6th being
held at the North Carolina National Golf Course in Statesville, NC at 10:00.
It located off of the Sharon School Road off of Interstate 40, west of
Statesville. It is exit 141. If coming from Statesville, you turn
left and go back across the interstate and turn left at the sign. If
coming from Hickory, NC, turn right off of the interstate and turn left at the
sign. The entrance to the course is immediately on the right.
Please pray for good weather and a good turn out. There have been
specially made caps and polo shirts made for the event and you may purchase
those at the tournament. Also, since we pledged to never sell anything
on our website, someone else is wanting to do so. Be looking for a link
to another web site that you may go to to purchase your Tournament of Hope
memorabilia. Look for pics real soon (I promise) of the caps and shirts
and other events. We are looking at making this tournament an annual
event to benefit various children's charities. More on that later.
Please be very careful
this holiday season as you travel and shop. May the God of heaven
provide protection and safety for you.
Remember to check out
the new pics coming soon of the above mentioned events. I promise.
God bless you! We
love you all!
God is good...ALL the
time!!!
Stand Strong!!!
