Erin Hope remains hospitalized at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She was admitted Saturday evening with a seriously low white blood count and platelet (blood clotting) counts. Her oxygen carrying ability was also diminished with low red blood cells and low hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. Her temperature is a little over 100 this morning with the highest temperature being over 102 on Saturday night. She received whole blood and platelet transfusions and looks and feels better but is not eating well. However, she may not come home until Wednesday or Thanksgiving Day. This past Saturday was also Erin Hope's parent's 11th wedding anniversary.
Please continue to pray. We have not heard whether she will have to have more chemo or not. Please pray that all of the cancer, in fact, is gone and will not return. As with any cancer, this can re-occur. We're trusting in Jesus that she is totally and completely healed, forever.
God bless you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving season.
What are you thankful for?
God is good...ALL the time!
