Hope this update finds you well and blessed.  I am sorry that it has taken almost a month to update you on Erin Hope and what has been happening.  As you may know, we have been praying about treatment options for the persistent, recurrent lesions that came back in her lungs.  After much thought and prayer, we have decided on a treatment.  According to the doctors, it was a "reasonable" and "good" choice.  This means that our choice of treatment should cause minimal side effects and 'may' be of some benefit for her.  Our second choice is one of the clinical trials in Bethesda Maryland.

Erin Hope will have another CT scan tomorrow at Baptist Hospital.  This will allow us to 'track' the lesions and get another 'baseline' before starting treatment.  Please be in prayer that we will receive good news tomorrow.  We have been praying that God will heal her completely and that she will have a long life here (as long as God tarries).  If you don't believe that God can heal her, please do NOT pray for her.  This sounds a little harsh and I don't want to offend anyone.  But, the Word of God says that He can heal the sick and whomever prays for her needs to be in agreement.

There has been a lot happening lately.  Erin Hope and the family was able to attend a NFL football game a couple of weeks ago.  We went to see the Carolina Panthers play the New Orleans Saints.  Or should I say, BEAT them!  It was a fantastic game. We were able to attend compliments of Make-A-Wish and Harris Teeter supermarkets.  We were put up in a suite on the 50 yard line and were waited on 'hand and foot'.  The Panthers' mascot, "Sir Pur" came by for a visit as well as "Harry", the Harris Teeter mascot.  We were able to meet a couple of other Make-A-Wish families and a good time was had by all.  All of the kids received a gift bag from Harris Teeter, including an autographed football by one of the Panthers and an official jersey of Julius Peppers to wear.

Erin Hope was also invited and attended a Clay Aiken CD release party as their "Special Guest".  Clay Aiken was the 'runner-up' in the latest American Idol contest and is a very special person.  Erin Hope and the rest of us really like his singing and the moral character that he has.  He has fans all over the world.  She had a blast.

Look for pictures of these events coming soon to the 'photo album' section of www.erinhope.com .

I received an e:mail yesterday of another person that 'won' the "Free Trip to Heaven" that we offer on the "Free Stuff" link.  Praise the Lord that another person gets to go to heaven and not to hell after visiting Erin Hope's website.  This makes a total of 3 people who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by our web efforts.  Just one person being saved makes all of our efforts and Erin Hope's illness worth it all!!  Praise be to Jesus!!!

I promise that I will update you soon after we hear the results of her CT scan.  May the God of Heaven continue to richly bless you as he has surely blessed us.  We love you and thank God for you that faithfully pray for Erin Hope and us.

God is good...ALL the time!!!
