Erin Hope has had  a very long day. As of this time she is still in the Operating room. She has been in the Operating room for 9 hours. She did not have a hole in her heart!!!  However, the tumor had grown into the wall of the venacava. They had to remove part of her venacava and replace it with Cow's heart lining. They removed some tumor-looking material from her right lung. The Doctors are pleased with how well the surgeries have gone. She will have to stay on a ventilator at least over night and remain in the Intensive Care Unit for up to one week.
