We heard from the surgeon today at Baptist Hospital that Erin Hope's surgery will be this Thursday around 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  As you may know, the cardiac surgeon will also need to be in the O.R. room to assist and maybe put Erin Hope on the heart bypass machine if needed.  We don't know how long the surgery may last but we speculate that it may be 4- 6 hours or longer.

 

Please pray for peace for both Erin Hope and her family.  Please continue to pray for her complete healing.  This is a very serious surgery.  However, Dr. Turner, the general surgeon, has done many of these type surgeries and is confident that he can get all of the cancer.

 

Erin Hope is feeling quite well but still has a little cough.  She does not appear to be worried about the surgery at this time.  She went to school today and had school pictures made.  She has had an unusually good appetite lately and we praise God for that.
