Erin Hope went back to Baptist Hospital today for her second round of chemo. She will probably go home on Sunday.

Before she started chemo the oncology doctors wanted another echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart). As you may remember, the first echocardiogram showed a tumor as well as a hole in her heart. Well guess what? There is NO MORE TUMOR IN HER HEART!! Praise the Lord!! And, the hole is only the size of a pencil eraser head. We're not sure if this will require surgery. It looks as though the chemo is working!

Plans are in the future to have a couple of benefit gospel singings. These are being coordinated by some very dear friends. The tentative dates are Oct. 24th in Hickory, NC and October 26th in Statesville, NC. The event in Statesville will definitely include a meal. We will let you know as soon as plans are finished.
