Today marks the one month anniversary of Erin Hope's Homegoing. We miss her so much but know that she is happy, healthy and home. Never, ever to have another care, hurt, or another cancer.

I had told you that we would update you on how the family is coping. One of the hardest things for me was the first time we would do something without Erin Hope that we had done quite often with her. Such as, going out to eat at her favorite restaurants, or going to the movies. Erin Hope's siblings are doing fairly well. Andrew says that he misses her but appears to be coping very well. Hannah is having a little more difficulty with adapting.
She is such an intelligent little girl and full of vitality. Please pray for her.

The shock has now worn off and the true weight of her being gone from us is felt. We have good days and bad. The good days are days that we can get through our day without totally breaking down and crying multiple times.
Although, some would argue that this is good for coping and I guess that it is.

We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from our family, friends, church family and community; including our internet family. We love you so much and our pain has been lessened because of you. We still ask for you to continue to pray as to what God would have us do to keep Erin Hope's legacy going. Some of the things that we are considering is: a foundation to benefit other kids with life threatening illnesses, continuing the Tournament Of Hope golf tournament, a scholarship fund for young people interested in marine biology, writing a book or books. We feel that Erin Hope made such an impact on all of us that we must keep her ministry going.
We are open to your suggestions.

Be looking for more pictures to come. If you have not had an opportunity to view Erin Hope's Celebration of Life Slideshow please visit www.erinhope.com and click on her picture in the upper left hand corner of the home page. I promise you that it will be a blessing to you. Special thanks to The Perrys ministries and the songwriter for allowing us to use their song even before its national release date. We visited with The Perrys this past Friday night and were told that their record company, Daywind Records has been deluged with comments about the song. They were amazed that anyone would know about it much less the impact that it has had and will have. This is a song that will touch thousands of lives and bring much needed healing. We love you Libbi, Tracy, and the rest of the gang. Please visit their website www.perrysministries.com and view a special tribute to Erin Hope and contact them thanking them for their support of Erin Hope's efforts.

We love you all and thank you so much for your continual prayers. God bless you!

God is good...ALL the time!!!
