Sorry for the delay in updating you.  Erin Hope will have another CT scan on Tuesday August 5th.  We had originally decided to do another type of treatment for Erin Hope but decided, along with her wishes, to wait until another scan was done.  We are concentrating a lot of our energy into building up her immune system to help fight off this cancer.  Everytime she has chemo it knocks her immune system down to where it progressively takes longer for her to recover from them.  A lot of the literature we have read states that a healthy immune system is key to beating cancer.  She has been taking some special nutritional products all along and continues to take them.  In addition, she has started other products to augment the current ones.

 

Erin Hope is looking and feeling very well.  She has enjoyed her summer tremendously with swimming almost every day and has gotten a good tan.  However, summer vacation is coming to an end soon and she will have to start school again.  One of the chemo drugs that she has been taking is causing progressive hearing loss to the point that she made need hearing aides.  Our plan is for her to not have anymore of this drug if at all possible.

 

Erin Hope's dad has started his new job at Baptist Hospital and loves it!

 

Please continue to pray for Erin Hope and the rest of the family.  We thank God for you who are faithful to pray for her needs.  We love you!  We were disappointed in the last CT scan results and are praying for good news that the cancer is gone or in retreat with this next scan.  We know and are convinced that God is able to heal her.  Please agree with us and ask our Heavenly Father to have mercy on her.
