Update 7/15/04 1:55pm
Erin Hope came through her surgery very well last night (early this morning). The Doctor(s) reported that everything went very well. Within two hours after the procedure she was eating ice chips. That middle name she has was appropriately given.
Today the Doctor(s) have performed an MRI of her brain and only see one small area of question. They (Doctors) feel that her response is appropriate. It is thought that Erin Hope may be moved later today to a non-PICU room. She is eating yogurt and apples and doing well.
Below I included a poem I came across today that I wanted to share. The final line rings true time and time again.
