Erin Hope had another CT scan on Tuesday of this week.  There basically is no change, which is a good and bad thing.  That means that the current chemo regimen is not as effective as it was previously but that the cancer lesions are not getting any bigger or larger in number.  The tumor board met yesterday at Baptist hospital and discussed Erin Hope's case.  There are several alternatives that can be tried but a definite recommendation was not given.  A couple of them are government clinical trials and would require travel to another state.  One is in Maryland at the hospital in Bethesda.  We're not exactly sure on the cost but it would be apparent to us that we would at least be required to pay for travel expenses.  She would have to go there at least once a month for a few days.

Thats just one option.  There are others we are exploring that can be done locally.  One is to go back to the original chemo regimen that appeared to be the most effective.  Anyway, we might do something next week.  Another option would be to not do anything and repeat the CT scan in about a month.  The rationale behind this would be to give her immune system a rest and allow her to be stronger and able to recover quidker.

Please continue to pray for God to give us wisdom and discernment as to what He wants us to do.

Erin Hope's Dad started his new job this week as a RN and is very excited!

Thanks so much for praying for Erin Hope and the rest of us.  We so appreciate that and thank God every day for you.  We love you!
