"Hope" this update finds you well, blessed, and well blessed. We apologize for taking so long to update you on what has been going on. We apologize for not updating the pictures as well. We will get some new pictures up very soon. We have lots to share!

Many of you have been concerned and asking for updates and pictures. Erin Hope has been feeling well but has been dealing with what we determine as some muscle spasms/tension in one of her shoulders and her neck. She has been taking anti-inflammatorys, heat wraps and a non-sedating muscle relaxer. which seem to help.

We have decided to pursue getting Erin Hope enrolled in one of the clinical trials in Bethesda Maryland. This is the site of the National Cancer Institute at the National Institute of Health. There is a very promising trial that contains the chemotherapy drug that caused the best tumor response in Erin Hope. We are awaiting to talk personally with the doctor up there. We have exchanged emails but need to talk to obtain additional information.

Erin Hope is enjoying her summer. The entire family was able to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for a whole week thanks to the generosity of Jason's House, a ministry of the Surfside United Methodist Church in Surfside Beach, SC. This twenty year old ministry invites children with life-threatening cancer to spend an entire week at the beach virtually free! They solicit local motels, parks, and restaurants to donate to these families and Erin Hope was chosen. We had a blast and had more things to do than we could physically complete. Many thanks to: Tropical Seas Hotel, Hard Rock Café, Wild Water Park, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Myrtle Beach Pavilion, Burger King, Arby's, Gran Prix Amusement Park, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Nascar Amusement Park, Carolina Opry, Legends Entertainment Show, Angelo's Steak and Pasta, Domino's Pizza, Wendy's, Papa John's, Ben & Jerrys' Ice Cream, J.D.'s Pig and Chicken, Benjamin's Bagels, Golden Corral, Buccaneer Bay Mini Golf, Great American River Boat Ride, Harbor Lights Golf, Myrtle Beach Pelican Baseball, Ocean Water Sports, Safari Golf, and the Pantry Stores for supplying gas while we were there. Please keep praying for Erin Hope and believing in prayer that God will heal her body and that she will grow up and declare the works of the Lord. We thank God for you and pray for God's many blessings upon your life. Please know that God loves you and wants the best for you. If you haven't yet, please ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart to be Lord of your life so you too, can be with him in heaven someday. That’s the only way to get to heaven.
