Erin Hope remains in the hospital as of late Thursday night, 5-6-04.  She had been feeling better as evidenced by her eating and keeping food down, smiling, and a return to her normal attitude.  This afternoon, however, she had to receive some blood and then ran another high fever with low oxygen levels; requiring supplemental oxygen.  Her blood pressure is much improved after the blood transfusion.  Her temperature raised to almost 104.  It may be Saturday that she is able to come home.  She has to remain fever free for at least 24 hours before being able to leave the hospital.

The doctors are also recommending changing her treatment regimen since it is apparent that the current treatment is not effective.  We have been given some additional options and we have requested that they consult St. Jude's Children's Hospital once again as well.  Still, traditional treatments have varying effectiveness with little improvement in overall survivalbility (according to documented research).  But, we know the King of the Universe whose name is Jesus!  He is able!  He is our strength!  He is our Savior!  He is our sufficiency!  He is our Rock!  He is our Salvation!  He is our Bright and Morning Star!  He is the Lilly of the Valley!  He is our Redeemer!  He is our Healer!  And, so much more!!!

Thank you so much for praying for our precious one!  You are so loved and we are so blessed!  God bless you!

God is good...ALL the time!!!
