Erin Hope had to go back to Baptist Hospital last night with a fever of 104.5, body aches, diarrhea and nausea. She was not able to eat or drink very much. She had stayed home from school yesterday and the doctors thought that it would be prudent to just watch her. She had a fever of 101 earlier in the morning. Currently, she is using oxygen to keep her oxygen saturations (level) at an acceptable level. She is breathing a little faster than normal but does not seem to be in any true distress. She is receiving IV antibiotics, anti-nausea, and pain medicine for pain in her shoulder.

Her blood counts were very low yesterday which makes it difficult for her body to fight off infection. We have heard of a virus that has been going around our town lately with similar symptoms that Erin Hope has.
