Hope this update finds you again as blessed
and most cherished by the Lord
Jesus Christ. Please find new pictures in the photo album.
Erin Hope and the family have been very busy lately. The first annual
Tournament of Hope was held this past Saturday in Statesville, NC was a huge
success! The Lord really blessed us with good weather and a great turnout.
Everyone had a terrific time. Even Erin Hope and her brother and sister
received some personal time with one of the local golf pros on the driving
range. Erin Hope decorated her own golf cart so that she and her mom,
sister, and brother could ride around the course greeting folks. Erin
Hope's dad played in the inaugural tournament and had a blast! I mentioned
that this was the first annual Tournament of Hope. Plans are already being
made for next years event. We know that Erin Hope will be healed and we
want to hold the tournament every year to benefit other children who are
battling illness. Each year we will select a child, or charity(ies) to
benefit. Special thanks to Erin Hope's church and the many people who
helped plan and coordinate the tournament! We love you!
Also, this past Saturday after the tournament, Erin Hope and her family
attended the Clay Aiken concert. So, this past Saturday was a very busy
day. Clay waved to Erin Hope from the stage after he saw her banner.
Many
of you may have seen it too. We had excellent seats close and to the front
corner of the stage. Needless to say, we were 'wiped out' when we got home
that night.
Erin Hope went to the doctor today for a follow-up visit. She looks and
feels very well. She actually out walked her dad in the parking deck
today.
She is tolerating her new treatment very well and the doctors are pleased.
She actually had to go to the doctor last week as well with a stomach ache
and a little bleeding issue but everything is okay. She will have another
CT scan April 23. Please be in prayer for that.
We want to remind you how much of a blessing you all are to us. We love
you
so very much and thank God for you who are diligent and faithful to remember
Erin Hope in your prayers. We actually ran into someone at the mall in
another town today that recognized Erin Hope from her website. We had
never
met the person but she told us that she prays for her all the time and
checks her website often. It was a pleasure to meet you today, Cricket.
Please check out the new pics in the photo album and come and visit us
often. And remember, God is good...ALL the time!!!
