Erin Hope went back to Baptist Hospital this past Thursday for one of the chemo drugs that she takes each Thursday. This drug causes a lot of jaw pain for her. She came home on Thursday but before her blood results were released. We received a phone call from Baptist Hospital that her white blood cells and platelets (blood clotting) were very low and she would need a platelet transfusion. I took her Friday for her platelets and she was running a fever. They admitted her for observation and antibiotics. Her fever came back down spontaneously after we made a couple of phone calls No doubt there was some prayer warriors interceding on her behalf. The doctor told us yesterday evening that she could come home and to monitor her fever. This morning she does not have a fever. Praise the Lord Jesus!

She does have some pain but not very severe. They also had to remove a large amount of ear wax from her left ear. This was very painful for her and it still hurts. After they removed that, they discovered that she has an ear infection.

Thanks so much for praying. I would like to wish Erin Hope's Mom a very happy birthday yesterday (Friday). She won't allow me to say how old she is but she is looking more beautiful with every passing day.
