We Hope this update greets you as being
blessed and well. We are enjoying a major snow storm at the time of this
writing. I'm sorry for the delay in updating you. Erin Hope has
been a busy little lady and so have we.
Recently, Erin Hope and her sister earned
their yellow belts in karate. In order to earn it, one must display
proficiency in the basic moves and break a 1/2 inch board with their fist.
You can see their pictures in the photo album.
Also, their have been a couple of benefit
events that were sponsored by the N.C. Piedmont Claymates and the UNCG
Sapphires, an 'a cappella' women's singing group www.uncgsapphires.org
. Another group that was there were the Sapphire's male counterparts;
The Spartones. www.spartones.org
Both of these groups were phenomenal!
Erin Hope is tolerating her new
treatment very well. Her blood counts all look good and so does she.
Her hair is again beginning to fall out. A few weeks ago, her Aunt Les
took her to get her hair done and highlighted. That was the first
time since her hair had fallen out the first time that she would go out in
public without a hair piece or bandanna. We were so pleased to see
her do that! She will have another CT scan in about 5-6 weeks. We
need your prayers believing and claiming her earthly healing.
Erin Hope also attended a special
pre-release of the movie, "The Passion of the Christ" with her
sister and parents. That was a very moving experience for all who
attended. Although it was rated "R", Erin Hope's parents
felt it was essential for her and her sister to view the suffering and the
choice Jesus made of dying for us. We don't recommend that all
children go see this movie. Parents and guardians must decide for
themselves. Please keep in mind the children's maturity level and
ability to read the subtitles when deciding if they should go.
Please don't forget the benefit golf
tournament being held at the N.C. National Golf Course in Statesville, NC on
March 13 at 10:00 a.m. Please see the home page at www.erinhope.com
for more information and directions.
Our prayer for you is that God will continue
to richly bless you as much as He has blessed us. Remember, God is
good...ALL the time!!!
God bless you!!!
Stand Strong!!!
