Hope this update finds you well and blessed.
Erin Hope had another CT scan this past Friday that reveals larger and more
tumors. These are located within both lungs. She remains symptom
free and is not showing signs of any respiratory distress. She
appears a little short of breath after walking for a while but we
attribute it to not being too terribly active; with not participating in P.E.
at school, etc. However, she still is taking karate lessons and doing
quite well with it. Look for some karate pictures coming to the photo
album soon. Her sister Hannah is also taking karate and they both
"rock" at it, or if you will, are very good at it. They both
will be testing for their yellow belts soon.
Erin Hope will probably start a new
treatment soon. We are praying that it will get paid for by either
insurance or through the drug company's "compassionate use program".
The treatment will consist of 4 different drugs; one being thalidomide.
This drug, if not paid for by insurance (it does not look good for them paying
for it), then we would have to qualify for the "compassionate use
program", which has strict income and liquid cash restrictions.
Otherwise, if it is not paid for by these two, then it would have to paid for
in cash. It would cost at least $1000.00 per month for just the
thalidomide. We ask you to pray that God will meet those needs.
After all, He said that he would! And we believe it!

A couple events are coming up pretty soon.
First, Erin Hope's birthday is in February. We are planning a small
party for her and there are going to be a couple of unexpected surprises for
her too.
Next, The Tournament of Hope has been
rescheduled for March 13th. Please see the main page for details.
Thanks to all who have been faithful to pray
for Erin Hope and our family. We love you! Please CLAIM her
healing and pray as if it has already happened. That is scriptural and
this is the way that we pray. The bible tells us that Jesus bore our
infirmities on the cross. Erin Hope also believes that she will get
better.
God bless you!
God is good...ALL the time!
