I am a childhood friend of your Daddy's. I used to live in North Carolina but now live with my husband Mike, daughter Megan, son Trenton and cat Steamy in Auckland, New Zealand, way down below Australia. It is 3 airplane rides from North Carolina! Takes almost 24 hours of flying to get here.

I'm very sad to hear of this illness you are having to endure right now. It must be a real "pain" to take all those treatments, BUT we all know you are going to get better. Doctors are So very smart these days and with the love and prayers of everyone at home and around the world I just know you will be back to your old self soon. progress. Big thumbs up!! We live in hot, dry, but beautiful Las Cruces, New Mexico (about 40 miles north-northwest of El Paso, Texas).

Cancer can be beaten. Both of my parents and my sister are cancer survivors. My parents are now in their late 70s and my sister is 56. They had their cancers years ago when cure rates and achieving remission status were not nearly as commonplace as they are today.

Kat and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed your website and have bookmarked it so I can check back every so often to see how you're doing. Please remain as positive as you can. Please do as your family members and doctors ask. And please don't be afraid to pray whenever you feel the urge.

most of their lives trying to make other people feel better. It is very hard

But, you sound like you have a very good attitude and the love of Jesus is the most important thing of all!
